Well done to Charlotte for getting student of the month for January. 
Charlotte started learning the violin May 2023 and has always been a determined student. She is about to take her grade 1 exam in March, which she has been working very hard on.
Charlotte has taken part in all of our concerts and we can see the fantastic progress she has made since the first performance up till her most recent performance at Christmas.
We wish her luck with the upcoming Don Valley Festival and the exam, and we look forward to seeing what she will achieve this year.

Student of the month for November is Jasmina. She has been with us since 2021 when she began to learn violin and then later on singing. Since then Jasmina has taken part in all of our concerts where she performs with great confidence; in addition she has achieved grade 3 violin in the last year and placed 2nd in our competition.
Jasmina has dealt with the challenges of higher level violin with determination and hard work, because of this her skill level has improved a lot recently. She has a natural musical ear and can play and sing in tune very well.
Jasmina has been wonderful and we are all looking forward to seeing her achievements going forward. 

Our student of the month for September is Nicolas. He has been with us for just under a year and is already on course to take his grade 1 violin exam in November. 
Nicolas is a wonderful student, he always comes into lessons with a big smile on his face and a determination to progress as much as he can. He works very hard at home, and even learnt a new piece on his own, on top of preparing for his exam.
He performed extremely well in our summer concert and we are looking forward to seeing him perform in future. 

Our student of the month for July is Yunal. He has been with us for nearly 3 years and performed violin in many of our concerts.
He has made remarkable progress in the last year, he has gone from a pass in grade 1 violin to a distinction in grade 2 recently. This was followed by a beautiful performance in our summer concert. Yunal has a good work ethic and listens well in the lessons.
We are looking forward to seeing future performances and successes from Yunal!

Well done to Jakub who is our student of the month for June. We have recognized the hard work Jakub has put in on working on his ABRSM exam and this up and coming summer concert.

Jakub has been with us for almost for 2 years now, having played piano a bit beforehand. He has made big improvement in note reading, musicality and work ethic. Within his time here Jakub has passed his Grade 1 exam, took part in the March showcase and performed in our 1 summer and 2 Christmas concerts.

We look forward to see what Jakub can achieve in the future.

Well done to Anna, who is our student of the month for May. We have recognized the hard work and effort Anna has put in. 

Anna has been with us for 2 years now and within that time her confidence has grown. She has performed in 1 Summer concert, 2 Christmas concerts and a Showcase. She also passed her ABRSM Grade 1 last year and is ready to taker her Grade 2 on June 26th.

We look forward to hearing your performance in the summer concert and much more achievements to come. 

Eva is our student of the month for April. She has been with us since July 2022, having played piano a bit beforehand. She has made big improvements overall in technique, musicality, and work ethic.
Eva is working on her grade 2 exam for this June and has been very thorough in the lessons and at home. She will practice any untidy parts of music until she has got it right without much prompting from the teacher. She is listening well in the lessons. Her hardworking and enthusiastic attitude has paid off as her exam pieces are in great shape already. Good luck to Eva with her future performances.

For the month of March we have awarded student of the month to Lillia. She achieved a lot this month, taking part in the Hill House Robin Hood Festival and winning her piano category, up to grade 5. She also placed 2nd with her performance on Clarinet, as well as performing brilliantly in our exam showcase.
Lillia is one of our advanced players, she started learning piano at a young age, and has been with us since late last year. She works very hard in the lessons, and at home, always coming into lessons prepared. 
In performances she plays with a level of maturity which is rare to find. We wish her good luck with her upcoming grade 5 exam and look forward to hearing her performance in the summer concert.
