Monelly Music is a family run business with a syllabus drawn from years of teaching experience. We teach beginners to grade 8 level; all ages accepted from age 4+ on instrumental, 8+ for singers. All lessons are based in our purpose built studio in Armthorpe, Doncaster.
Corinna (BMus, MA) believes in being thorough with technique and building a strong sense of musicality.
Steven's mission is to turn a beginner piano student into a confident advanced player with exciting and motivational lessons. Students will learn well known, beautiful pieces, improve technique and have a greater understanding of music theory.

Piano - Our lessons aim to be creative with elements of improvisation and composition alongside more traditional note reading. Students will be exposed to a wide variety of music and in addition we welcome suggestions from them.
Violin is a rewarding instrument to play; there are many opportunities to perform in string groups, orchestras etc. Technique will be taught thoroughly early on to prevent bad habits from creeping in later. Students will learn to play all their pieces with a critical ear.
Flute - As breathing technique is the backbone of great flute playing, expect breathing exercises in the lessons. We will explore different genres of music including jazz.
Singing styles offered are musical theatre or classical. Corinna has experience in acting and performing in shows; most recently she played Yum Yum in 'Mikado' and Phyliss in 'Iolanthe' with Ferrier Operatic Society in London. If you are auditioning for a show we can help.
Theory is also an important part of every lesson; students should fully understand the music they are playing. We do enter students for ABRSM exams but this is a very small part of our syllabus; we offer other
performance opportunities in recitals.

Fees
Membership option: £105 per month, includes books, recital entry etc. as well as weekly 45 minute lessons.
Flexible option: Pay as you go - £25 per 45 minute lesson. For students who have demanding schedules and can't commit every week.
